Part III – Why Christian Worship Teams Should Tune to 432 hz. and Abandon 44 hz.

Part III – Why Christian Worship Teams Should Tune to 432 hz. and Abandon 44 hz. (aka Rockefellers Standard or Industrial tuning). By A.True Ott, PhD

In Part I – I showed the historical/archeological evidences that the earliest known instruments of the Hebrew nation of Israel were more than likely based on the perfect fifth scientific tuning, meaning our modern concert A pitch is tuned to 432 hz., and the other notes follow what Pythagorus and Johannes Kepler called the perfect 3:2 ratios. To be specific, B resonates at 243 hz., C at 256 hz., D at 288 hz., E at 324 hz., F at 342 hz., and G at 384 hz. The perfect symmetry (remember harmony = symmetry in tones) is best shown in the following matrix, where the horizontal column shows the multiples of three, while the vertical column shows the multiples of two (3:2 ratios). Notice that 486 (B2)/324 (E) = 1.5, 432 (A) /288 (D) = 1.5, etc. Notice the enigma of the F note of 342 hz., however. It is basically a lone wolf tone when compared to the natural 7 notes – it doesnt fit the otherwise perfect ratios found in the other 6 (2×3) notes; although it is indeed evenly divisible by three, and only becomes relevant in the chord harmony of the perfect fifths of the 12-note chromatic scale. More on that later.

1 3 9 27 81 243 (B) 729

2 6 18 54 162 486 (B2)
4 12 36 18 324 (E) 972
8 24 72 216 648

16 48 144 432 (A)

32 96 288 (D) 864

64 192 576
128 384 (G) 1152

256 (C) 768

It may be easier to see the ratios and how F is basically a balancing Harmonizer of the 7 note scale by looking at this chart below:

F 5+ 11- 21+ 43- 85+ 171- 342+ (F is + or – 1/3 of C)

C 2 4 8 16 32 64 128 256 512 124

G 6 12 24 48 96 192 384 768

D 18 36 72 144 288 576

A 54 18 216 432 864

E 162 324 648 all in Hz

B 486

So why are these harmonic ratios so important to understand when choosing the most effective way to honor and worship our Creator by striving to become one or united with Him as we give Him our praise through music? Simply because 432 hz. tuning more closely reflects the exact same harmonic ratios found in the creators universe – both in the macrocosm of outer space, i.e. the distances between planets, stars, and galaxies, but also the living cells and DNA chains of all living things created by Him! This is the final conclusion of Johannes Kepler and many other scientists and physicists after lifetimes of study. Like them, I likewise have found that the detailed predictions inherent in what is called the Harmonics Theory are confirmed by honest observations in the fields of cosmology, geology, atomic physics, economics, climate, biology and even that of human affairs!! I must concur with Keplers declaration made back in the year 1618: The universe is best described as a finely tuned musical instrument; and everything in it is vibrating in tune with the larger objects that contain it in their respective spheres. I believe that there are no other laws in the universe than this Law of Harmony. Indeed – I submit that all the other laws of physics appear to be merely the result of the basic causal uniform wave structure that leads one to observe and pay honor to the universal Harmonic law In the Beginning.

Keep in mind the very basic definition of sound is simply a moving wave of energy – very similar to an ocean wave with a measurable high and low peaks and valleys or “crests and troughs”. Therein, the hertz measurement is simply the speed of the wave of sound – i.e. the number of times the waves peaks oscillate or move per second. Little wonder that Jesus of Nazareth – the Living Word according to John 1:1-3 could command the wind as well as the ocean waves by merely saying three words: Peace be still. Indeed, we still may echo the disciples words: What manner of man is this! for he commands even the winds and water, and they obey him. (Luke 8:25)

Is it just a coincidence that I have measured the audible sound of moving wind (especially through the trees) and waves (both fresh and salt water) – and have found that both sounds resonate measurable harmonics of A=432 hz.? But it doesnt stop there. Song birds in all their incredible variety each sing their delightful songs rooted at 432 hz. tuning. So do the whales and other marine mammals. The insects such as crickets and cicadas all make their relaxing night music rooted in 432 hz., as do the croaking frogs and toads. I have found that tumbling fresh water such as rivers, small streams, and waterfalls all are based in 432 hz. tuning. I submit that is exactly why their sounds are so relaxing and stress-relieving to the human soul who takes the time to listen. Incredibly, certain deep caves and caverns actually emit a specific hertz energy frequency – once again, it is a perfect harmonic of 432 hz.

Then I took a rather large sampling of the sounds recorded by the Voyager deep-space probe. Yes, distant planets, stars known as pulsars, and even galaxies all resonate tones of the pure harmonic root of 432 hz. Leave it to evil and conspiring men controlled completely by the love of money, the biblical root of all evil to standardize music to the much more disruptive and universally dis-harmonic 44 hz. tuning.

Frankly, I find it quite amazing that certain good and well-meaning Christian friends immediately begin to roll their eyes at me, as they mentally and emotionally run away while screaming new-age when I declare to them the novel concept that music tuned to 432 hz. has incredible, latent POWER to not only heal the mind, body and spirit of fallen man – but also is a very important aid in the devout Christians walk in the biblical process of sanctification – which is best described as the ultimate harmonic unity of mind, body, and spirit with the Creator who we know to be Christ Jesus. They are quick to say that such a concept is at best non-scriptural, and downright heretical at worst. Respectfully, I have to wonder what Bible texts they are ignoring concerning this topic, for to me, the music of David and his descendants is a central tenet of the biblical account of the sanctification process.

First of all, many are blissfully ignorant of the deeper numeric meanings found throughout the Holy Bible. No, Im not talking about Drosnins computerized Bible Code here. I am talking about the biblical WORDS (i.e. frequencies of sound) themselves and their specific numeric values. For instance the Hebrew word for LIGHT has a corresponding number value of exactly 144 – the 1st lower octave of the note D (288 hz) when A is tuned to 432 hz. More importantly the Greek word for WORSHIP has a value of exactly 432.

I submit that if the Holy Bible is indeed God-Breathed or inspired and thus totally and completely divine in design and nature (2 Timothy 3: 13-17) – the unseen or invisible underlying number patterns of the words and sentences would, like all the invisible patterns of nature testify fully and completely as to what manner of man Jesus of Nazareth truly was – so that humanity can be left with no excuse at the day of Judgement and the Harvest. (See Romans 1:18-2) Good Christians: Ignorance is no excuse – the Word is clear on that too.

Christians should deeply consider the underlying reasons why Jehovah designed the advent of His coming on earth on a very specific genetic timeline (i.e. a generation or generation) as well as a very specific genetic bloodline. If this was not important for us to know and understand, why is it that the first 17 verses of the New Testament are totally devoted to this? Notice, the very first words of the Gospel of Matthew declares: The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham. The generations are specifically numbered in verse 17: So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; and from David until the carrying away into Babylon are fourteen generations; and from the carrying away into Babylon unto Christ are fourteen generations. Specific patterns of NUMBERS and numerical ratios and sequences are very significant to the Creator, it would thus appear.

So why did Jehovah choose to manifest Himself on earth through the specific bloodline of David and the Tribe of Judah after a grand total of 42 gene-rations since He made the covenant promise to Abram? What could possibly be so special about David and his genetics, as opposed to say Joseph and Ephraims? David was, after all, quite dysfunctional and human in many quite sordid ways. He was constantly falling victim to fleshly lusts and desires when he did his own thinking and followed his own prideful counsel – yet he always had his HEART and SOUL tuned to God in a very special and empowering way nevertheless. I submit that the key (another musical term) to understanding Davids unique relationship to God is understanding the very special role that certain divine MUSIC had in his life, and the power it had to ALWAYS reconcile him quickly back to his beloved Jehovah, no matter what human failings and faults plagued him during his life that caused him pain and anguish.

Lets quickly take a look at Davids life and see what the numbers as well as the story symbolize. We read in the Book of Samuel concerning the rise of Saul to be crowned King of Israel – yet Sauls HEART was not right before God. Because of this, he estranged himself from Jehovah and the young shepherd boy David was eventually anointed to take Sauls place at some specific time in the future.

David was anointed and became the archetype of the promised Messiah – the lowliest of lowly shepherds would ascend to be King. Notice David was the 8th son according to the account in I Samuel. Notice also that the name JESUS in the Greek, numbers exactly 888, and that Jesus was officially given that name on earth on the 8th day following His birth, just as the angel directed Joseph to do in a dream. Notice also that the numeric value (aka gematria) of the four-letter word LOVE is also exactly 8. The name David means the Beloved. Now why is this important? Consider that the earth itself has a measurable base hz. frequency of 8 hz. 8 hz. is also clearly one of the core base octave frequencies of the note or Key of C when A is tuned to 432 hz. scientific tuning. (See chart above.) Under 44 hz. tuning, the significance of 8 hz. completely disappears. If the word love has a value of 8, does this shed any additional light on the scripture For God so LOVED the World (John 3:16).

Following his anointing to be King of Israel, we next find David first making the acquaintance of Saul, the sitting King, solely on account of Davids skill with playing the harp. In 1 Samuel 16: 14-23 we read of what is perhaps the first account of physical as well as spiritual healing (i.e. the expulsion of unclean spirits) solely by means of music. Clearly, the tones generated by David via his musical instrument banished the evil spirit that was plaguing King Saul. The KJV declares: so Saul was refreshed, and was well, and the evil spirit departed from him.

But wait a minute, how could this lowly shepherd boy David (the Beloved) possibly know how to play the harp so well as to evoke specific MUSICAL TONES that would cause evil and unclean spirits to depart and so powerfully refresh and heal the King? David wasnt trained in Judahs top, exclusively elite music schools was he? I would submit that because David was just a lowly shepherd who spent his days and nights out in nature tending and protecting his beloved sheep from lions, bears and other dangers – he knew exactly how to tune his harp to the calming sounds of nature, and thus natures God, in order to calm the sheep – for he undoubtedly played and sang to them as often as possible. Most good shepherds do just that! And yes – you guessed it, a herd of sheep emit specific frequencies of sound that just as the crickets, frogs, and cicadas, are also tuned to 432 hz. It is moreover very likely that David didnt just go down to his local harp store in Bethlehem and buy himself an elaborately built instrument. I would submit that David fashioned his own harp and tuned it to match the very sounds of nature that he himself had listened to over the years while tending the sheep both day and night. I would submit that this process is exactly what forged the life-long bond between David and his God that served BOTH so very well, despite human weaknesses and failings.

It is hard for me personally to imagine that David could ever have achieved his level of sanctification and one-ness unto God, without these specific musical tones tied to the natural harmonics and the words of PRAISE he sang in those very harmonic tones. I would also submit that Satan, and each of his fallen and unclean spirits, would like nothing more than to see humanity permanently divorced from these specific healing tones and frequencies of sound that the demonic hordes simply cannot abide. What else would inspire men to change and alter the inherently richer, more powerful healing tones of nature and the Creator by just enough to create increased stress, dissonance and agitation at the most primal level of the human brain and cellular functions?

Of course, prayer, scripture study and meditation can bring people to a knowledge of Christ, and forge a personal relationship with Him IN SPITE OF a dissonance musical tuning – not because of it. You see, I was shown very clearly that the role of WORSHIP MUSIC in a Christian service, is to prepare the hearts, minds, and souls of men and women to receive God’s Word – just as a plow is designed to prepare a field to receive a seed that will take root and eventually bring forth fruit. Music played in 44 hz. can plow the field and remove a few stones and rocks, but not nearly as deep and as effectively as music tuned to 432 hz. – which produces the ultimate “good ground” for the seed to take root. Remember the parable found in Matthew 13:

18. Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower. 19 When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side. 2 But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it; 21 Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended. 22 He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful. 23 But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty. 1. true, are you going soft on your venom towards the true Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day saints . not one word about the mormons. you sicko, you are losing your hatred of the latter day saints. you listening to 432hz must be softening your heart.

  2. No – it’s just that you can’t talk reason to a brick wall. Most duped Mormons are so brainwashed that their eyes are literally covered with scales and they simply cannot see because of their vain imaginings and their pride that they alone have it right. And you call ME a “sicko”??

Yep – you are indeed “sealed” up in Lucifer’s “restored” temple – I know because I was once there too.

Job 41:15 His scales are his pride, shut up together as with a close seal.

  3. Just telling the truth. You have my humble witness, do with it what you will – and you have a good Christmas too.

  4. Thanks, Doc. FYI – I have tuned my Technics keyboard synthesizer/music work station and Yamaha Baby Grand down to 432 hz. and also have tuned each individual note to the “perfect 5th” tuning as recommended by Kepler. I simply can’t believe the difference in the harmony of the chords, and I have played the piano and guitar for over 5 years. It’s like hearing the songs for the first time! When adding in the recorded sounds of nature, such as the moving water of rivers and streams, the caves, the birds, the Voyager recordings, etc – the CLASSIC Viennese Waltzes by Strauss and the old Gaelic folk songs really come alive. It’s like you are one with nature at the soul level. Hopefully shortly after New Year’s, I will have some CD’s of this music available. Stay tuned – and thanks for posting.

  5. Thanks for the articles on 432! They confirm what I have believed about musical tuning for sometime. I love the Gematria aspect! I would love to speak with you if you have time. I have a tuning theory I have been working on that uses the Fibonacci numbers that you might be very interested it. It centers around 432. God Bless, Josh

  6. Hello Josh:

By all means – please shoot me an email at [email protected] with your contact info, and lets talk. In addition to 432 tuning, I have also tuned my piano and keyboards to Werckmeister’s early baroque ratios – which are pretty much Pythagorean except they adjust for the natural discrepancies of the F note. My one keyboard can also be adjusted to emit triangle (delta) waves vs. the traditional sine or sawtooth patterns. As a result, I am experiencing incredibly moving, deep harmonics in the chords that to me are simply stunning. When playing the classics such as Pachelbel’s Canon in D, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Af372EQLck and Handel’s Messiah in this tuning, it is like hearing it for the first time. Modern “tuning” of 44 hz. and “equal temperament” simply does not do justice at all to these classic works! To me, its like putting graffiti all over the Mona Lisa – it shouldn’t be done – EVER!
    True

  7. I know there is not a lot to go on but what do you make of the (potentially antideluvian) instrument pictured in http://youtu.be/mLvE8uA4rnM at 45:28?
I realise that anything constructed by the Nephelim and their worshippers is dangerous ground, but I’m curious to see if the frequencies cited harmonise with your theme.

  8. Thanks for sharing this, Christopher. Notice there are only 11 tones on this ancient pan flute’s “scale” versus the typical 12 notes in our “modern” scale. In my research into the early Pythagorean tunings, there really are only 11 pure divisions of the 432 hz. resonance. The note “F” simply doesn’t fit the calculations. This is especially true when you see there are only 11 “harmonics” of the color spectrum of visible light. I would be VERY interested to hear the tones this ancient instrument produces. I would bet that it produces a 54 hz. base note – many “stone” flutes do just that. (54 hz. is the first octave of 432 hz. “concert A” pitch). Stay tuned!

  9. True worship is not confined to emotions, although these things may feel good, but it is not Biblical. True worship is the acknowledgment of God and all His power and glory in everything we do. The highest form of praise and worship is obedience to Him and His Word. To do this, we must know God; we cannot be ignorant of Him (Acts 17:23). Worship is to glorify and exalt Godto show our loyalty and admiration to our Father.
The apostle Paul described true worship perfectly in Romans 12:1-2: I urge you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God which is your spiritual service of worship. And do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable, or well pleasing and perfect. This passage contains all the elements of true worship. First, there is the motivation to worship: the mercies of God. Gods mercies are everything He has given us that we dont deserve: eternal love, eternal grace, the Holy Spirit, everlasting peace, eternal joy, saving faith, comfort, strength, wisdom, hope, patience, kindness, honor, glory, righteousness, security, eternal life, forgiveness, reconciliation, justification, sanctification, freedom, intercession and much more. The knowledge and understanding of these incredible gifts motivate us to pour forth praise and thanksgivingin other words, worship! Also in the passage is a description of the manner of our worship: present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice. Presenting our bodies means giving to God all of ourselves. The reference to our bodies here means all our human faculties, all of our humannessour hearts, minds, hands, thoughts, attitudesare to be presented to God. In other words, we are to give up control of these things and turn them over to Him, just as a literal sacrifice was given totally to God on the altar. But how? Again, the passage is clear: by the renewing of your mind. We renew our minds daily by cleansing them of the worlds wisdom and replacing it with true wisdom that comes from God. We worship Him with our renewed and cleansed minds, not with our emotions. Emotions are wonderful things, but unless they are shaped by a mind saturated in Truth, they can be destructive, out-of-control forces. Where the mind goes, the will follows, and so do the emotions.First Corinthians 2:16tells us we have the mind of Christ, not the emotions of Christ. There is only one way to renew our minds, and that is by the Word of God. It is the truth, the knowledge of the Word of God, which is to say the knowledge of the mercies of God, and were back where we began. To know the truth, to believe the truth, to hold convictions about the truth, and to love the truth will naturally result in true spiritual worship. It is conviction followed by affection, affection that is a response to truth, not to any external stimuli, including music. Music as such has nothing to do with worship. Music cant produce worship, although it certainly can produce emotion. Music is not the origin of worship, but it can be the expression of it. Do not look to music to induce your worship; look to music as simply an expression of that which is induced by a heart that is rapt by the mercies of God, obedient to His commands.True worship is God-centered worship. People tend to get caught up in where they should worship, what music they should sing in worship, and how their worship looks to other people. Focusing on these things misses the point. Jesus tells us that true worshipers will worship God in spirit and in truth (John 4:24). This means we worship from the heart and the way God has designed. Worship can include praying, reading Gods Word with an open heart, singing, participating in communion, and serving others. It is not limited to one act, but is done properly when the heart and attitude of the person are in the right place. Its also important to know that worship is reserved only for God. Only He is worthy and not any of His servants (Revelation 19:1). We are not to worship saints, prophets, statues, angels, any false gods, or Mary, the mother of Jesus. We also should not be worshiping for the expectation of something in return, such as a miraculous healing. Worship is done for Godbecause He deserves itand for His pleasure alone. Worship can be public praise to God (Psalm 22:22;35:18) in a congregational setting, where we can proclaim through prayer and praise our adoration and thankfulness to Him and what He has done for us. True worship is felt inwardly and then is expressed through our actions. Worshiping out of obligation is displeasing to God and is completely in vain. He can see through all the hypocrisy, and He hates it. He demonstrates this inAmos 5:21-24as He talks about coming judgment. Another example is the story of Cain and Abel, the first sons of Adam and Eve. They both brought gift offerings to the Lord, but God was only pleased with Abels. Cain brought the gift out of obligation; Abel brought his finest lambs from his flock. He brought out of faith and admiration for God.
