Why Christians and Worship Teams Should Tune to 432 hz and Abandon 44 hz

First of all, allow me to explain the current situation by exploring historical truths. From the earliest history of instrumental music and “symphony”, we learn from archeological evidence uncovered primarily in the fertile crescent of ancient Ur of the Chaldees that the contemporaries of Father Abraham created specific musical instruments and tuned them to a keynote pitch of 432 hz. A number of metallic tuning triangles have in fact been unearthed in modern-day Iraq, that were used to tune various stringed instruments to a keynote pitch of 432 hz – known today as “Concert A” pitch.

Why did the early Chaldeans tune their various stringed instruments to 432 hz?? The biblical record explains the most probable reason. At the age of 99, we learn that Abraham was engaged in studying the stars in the night sky when he discovered the reality of God and eventually received a series of “revelations” concerning God’s plan of salvation and of course a SAVIOR (Messiah) which would eventually come to the world from Abraham’s numerous seed. That is the central core message of the entire Old Testament, (as well as the New Testament) – and it all began thousands of years ago, with Abraham studying the movements of the night sky.
Consider that modern astronomical science has verified what Abraham likely already knew – that the heavens themselves testify of the base number 432. For instance, it takes exactly 72 years for the stars to travel a mere one degree around the 25,92 year grand procession of the equinox through the 12 “star constellations” cycles. There are 36 degrees in a complete circle. 72 years x 36 degrees of a circle = 25,92 total years. The number 432 multiplied by the number 6 equals the 25,92 year procession of the equinox, as well as all of the planetary and stellar “processions” which also just happen to perfectly align with the base number 432. Is it just a coincidence that Abraham’s culture, the ancient Chaldees, produced instruments tuned to this base number of 432 hz vibrations? The salient question is, which came first, Abraham’s covenant with God, the Creator of the Universe, or Abraham’s knowledge of the 432 connection to the Creator of the Uni (one) Verse (song) that lent him the process to find and access God? The other question I have to ask is: How can the “grand procession” of the stars from an “observatory” on earth be true, if the the earth is billions of “light years” away from the nearest “star” – while hurtling through the “galaxy” at 66,6 mph???

Following the starting point of Abraham’s covenant with God the Creator, we learn from the Biblical record that Abraham’s miraculous posterity became inter-twined with that of Egypt. For over four hundred years, Abraham’s seed served as servants to the Egyptians – until Moses came upon the scene. Consider that Moses’ sister Miriam was, according to the Bible, a highly skilled dancer and singer very much in demand in the royal courts of Egypt. See Exodus 15:2-21. What musical songs and frequency pitch did she dance and sing to? Once again, archeological evidence tells us that the vast majority of ancient Egyptian instruments were also tuned to the base frequency of 432 hz.
From the hand of Moses came the safety-net called the LAW, and during their subsequent sojourn in the wilderness to their establishment as a nation in Palestine, music clearly became an integral part of their sublime worship and oblations to their God. In clear distinction from that of the bedouin nations surrounding them, the music of the ancient Hebrews was not sensuous in nature, but was in fact a true sacramental oblation to their God. Clearly, to the ancient Hebrew, music was not an art form, but very much a part of their religion.
Biblical historians and archeologists have surmised that David, the shepherd-boy, was skilled in the use of three primary instruments – ALL TUNED TO 432 hz. First was a simple reed flute instrument consisting of a seven-note, chromatic scale with “A” being tuned as the “keynote” to 432 hz. Second was an early form of the Scottish “bagpipes” called a “symphonia”, and third, a stringed instrument called a Psanterin (that music from it was named “psaltery” or today’s biblical Psalms).

The Bible then details that during the time of the Prophet Jeremiah, the nation of Israel was once again conquered and “taken captive into Babylon”. Psalm 137 reads: “By the rivers of Babylon, there we sat down, yea, we wept, when we remembered Zion. 2 We hanged our harps (psanterins) upon the willows in the midst thereof. (They quit playing their sacred songs) 3 For there they that carried us away captive required of us a song; and they that wasted us required of us mirth, saying, Sing us one of the songs of Zion. 4 How shall we sing the LORD’S song in a strange land?”
Indeed, what exactly is the “LORD’S SONG”?? Could the “Lord’s Song” be specifically singing and playing instruments in the tuning of 432 hz? The evidence that follows says the answer to that question is an emphatic YES!
The “12 Tribes” of Israel eventually became scattered over the face of the earth, but the record shows that Six (Roman Number VI) Kings (i.e the posterity of the Six Sons of Leah) went into the Northern (Norse) Lands and eventually became know as the “VI (six) Kings” – or what we call today the “Vikings.” Once again the archeological record shows that 432 hz music was also an integral part of the VI (Six) Kings of the North and their culture.
The first part of this paper provides a brief overview of the origins of western Religious Music – which clearly from the time of David until the mid 2th Century, was pretty much uniformly played with “Concert A” being tuned to the “keynote” of 432 hz. Just as the ancient Hebrews were extremely strict in the preservation of their sacred written texts, (because they revered them as “God-Breathed”) so too, I submit, did they preserve their sacred music “keynote” tone of 432 hz even through the “Dark Ages” as well as the “Renaissance” years up until the year 1953. Today, however, the “standard” Concert A pitch is no longer “432” but has been raised 8 hz by the United Nations’ “International Standards Organization” (ISO) to 44 hz. The remainder of this expose will consider the questions: Why was this done, by whom, and more importantly, does a mere 8 hz. change even matter at all?
As we explore these questions, consider the words of the Prophet Isaiah: “The Spirit of the Lord GODisupon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison tothem that arebound. (Isaiah 61:1) I submit this is exactly what Christian “pastors” and “worship teams” are supposed to do for Christ – use Christ’s WORDS (which are vocalized frequencies of sound) as prompted by the Holy Spirit, as well as pure MUSIC (Tone Frequencies of Sound) to 1. bring “good tidings” (the Gospel message) unto the humble, meek hearts who will accept it, 2. to HEAL THE BROKEN AND HOPELESS who need the Hope of Christ in their lives, 3. to proclaim LIBERTY to those held captive by the DARK IGNORANCE of the Adversary of Christ, and 4. OPEN UP THE PRISON DOORS TO THEM THAT ARE BOUND. (To me, that means the good Mormon people and their false “heliocentric” priesthood of Baal that “Binds (make people’s souls bound or imprisoned) on Earth as well as in Heaven”).
Is it just a coincidence that the entire complete ARAMAIC/HEBREW text of Isaiah 61:1 has a precise, numeric (gematria) value of 5,184? You see, each Hebrew letter has a specific number value assigned to it. The individual letters with their specific number value then combine to make words, and the words then make up sentences, and sentences make up biblical verses (remember, “verse” actually means SONG – or FREQUENCY) each having a specific numeric value attached. Throughout the entire Old and New Testament, the number 12 is universally a sacred, special number tied to the ACT of witnessing of Christ and Him Crucified. 5,184 just happens to be 432 x 12. Coincidence? Also consider that 432 just happens to be a “Trinity” number – meaning that it is evenly divisible by the TRINITY NUMBER of Three. 432 divided by 3 equals 144. Does 144 times 1, (144,) mean anything to a devout Christian? The numerical code clearly shows that the NUMBER 144 is what qualifies a Christian to be invited to the “wedding feast” of spiritual salvation – not a specific, limiting number of individuals. Hopefully there will be many, many thousands of “saints” who have the number 144 in their forehead (the location of the pituitary gland, the human center of spiritual intuition, which is scientifically proven to be activated and opened by 432 hz. “solfeggio” tones in music.)
Is it just a coincidence that the Hebrew word (yadah) which in English is translated as PRAISE has an exact gematria value of 432? This is also true with the Hebrew words (Shalom) English translation, “Peace”, and (yasha’) English translation “Yeshua” (Joshua, Jesus): “To Save”? How about (nephesh) the “SOUL” – which also equates to 432? Other Hebrew words with exact 432 gematria are translated into English as the indivdual 432 value words: Seek, Honor, Clean, Sight, and Satisfy. What about the Greek New Testament language? What individual words in the New Testament also have a specific gematria value of 432? There are many, but the primary one is (sebomai) which in English is the word WORSHIP. How is it that the Greek word meaning WORSHIP has a gematria value of 432 on the nose? Do you still think that 432 hz. tuning is meaningless?
So, does it matter, spiritually speaking, to move the Concert A a mere 8 hz up to 44? Consider that the earth has a hz vibration of 8. Consider also that the cochlea receptor of the inner ear calibrates sounds to the brain stem at intervals of roughly 4 hz intervals. In other words, the human ear cannot distinguish between pitch change from 432 up to 435. But it can definitely distinguish a movement of 8 hz. even though it may be quite subtle.
But what about water? Since the cells of the human body are mostly water, (as is the brain especially) what are the vibrational changes (if any) between 432 hz. and 44 hz? There is a research scientist in England who has developed a sophisticated instrument to photograph and measure specific hz frequencies in water. This instrument is called a cyma (sound) scope. Look what happens to water at 432 hz. vs. 44 hz.:
Clearly, 44 hz. brings dissonance, disharmony, and corruption to the human cell matrix which is water based. Notice there are exactly 28 individual “rays” projecting from water in the 432 hz. image above. 28 equals 2 x 2 x 7. Using gematria we find that 28 is the number of the Hebrew word which means Yehovah r LORD!! It is also the number for (chay) or LIVE in English, and (dowd) Beloved, as well as (zebach) – the English word SACRIFICE! Notice how 44 hz. ERASES THIS NUMERICAL SPIRITUAL MESSAGE FROM THE CELLS AND THE BRAIN?? Keep in mind, also that Christ often talked about the LIVING WATER during His earthly ministry.

Now, let’s play “the devil’s advocate” for a minute. Suppose you were Satan – the arch-enemy of Christ and hated above all His message of salvation. Suppose you as Satan knew fully well the impact of 432 hz – the very SONG OF CREATION – would have on the hearts, minds and souls of people. How would you seek to stop the vibrational message and potential sanctification process inherent in the message? Would you eliminate music altogether, or would you TWIST the music ever so slightly and in the place of PEACE, HARMONY and LOVE, put WAR, ANGER, DISEASE and PESTILENCE destructive chaotic frequency in its place?
Consider then the gematria of the number 44 in the following biblcal words: (muwth) English word DIE, (gazal) SPOIL, (chabal where we get the word cabal) which in English means TO DESTROY! 44 also just happens to be the gematria value of (piylegesh) CONCUBINE, (labad) RAVISHED or RAPED, (galuwth) CAPTIVITY, (gezelah) VIOLENCE, and (ma`aseh) WORKS. That’s just a sampling of the Hebrew gematria value of 44. Look at the Greek gematria of 44 value: (nosos) DISEASE, (katargeo) DESTROY, (apothnesko) DEATH or TO DIE, (pathema) SUFFERING, (spilos) TO DEFILE, (diakrino) TO DOUBT, and finally, (mnema) SEPULCHRE or TOMB.
Do you really believe that changing 432 by a simple number of 8 is meaningless and “doesn’t matter”? According to the gematria code of God’s Word, it matters a great deal indeed.
Now for the final piece of the puzzle – WHO was responsible for changing Concert A 432 hz. to the destructive 44 hz? Ultimately, we have to point the finger at the biblical “Synagogue of Satan” (Revelation 2:9 and 3:9) The fact is, an agent of the godless globalist, John D. Rockefeller, a man by the name of John C. Deagan spearheaded the effort in America during the first three decades of the twentieth century. Using Rockefeller funding and “grants” – Deagan built a mammoth musical instrument factory in Chicago and flooded North America with specialty percussion instruments tuned to 44 hz. These instruments were often given en masse to schools and university orchestras. Musical professionals accepted the Trojan Horse (the gematria of horse in Greek is also 44) largesse with very little questioning. All they had to do was retune their strings and other instruments a small 8 hz. up to 44 in order to be “in tune”. By the mid 3’s, the takeover of America’s music to the devilish 44 was completed. However, in Europe (especially the Opera Houses and Orchestras of France) – the “44 movement” was met with fierce and very vocal opposition. In Germany and Austria, the Nazi “Minister of Propaganda” Josef Goebbles, backed by the very popular composer Wagner, spearheaded the 44 hz. “renaissance” for the “NEW GERMANY”. It is a fact that the Nazis focused much of their hate and enmity on the CULTURAL MUSIC CENTERS of France during their occupation – for the very reason the French musicians were EXTREMELY OUTSPOKEN OPPONENTS of the “44 movement” happening in America and Germany. In the U.K. the CITY OF LONDON FINANCIAL DISTRICT of the House of Rothschild successfully removed 432 hz. and replaced it with 44 hz. in much the same manner as Rockefeller’s agent Deagan did in America during roughly the same time period.
Following WWII, the Rockefeller/Rothschild money CABAL installed the UNITED NATIONS in New York City, – which in turn established the ISO (International Standards Organization) in London, who in turn declared 44 hz. to be the STANDARD TUNING OF INSTRUMENTS WORLDWIDE. Immediately, over 4, petitions from internationally recognized professional musicians and musical organizations were collected and presented to the ISO. These 4,+ petitions consisting of millions of signatures were summarily ignored and dismissed, however. The vast majority of protests were based on spiritual reasons – that any other “tuning” was not nearly as “spiritual” or “inspirational.”
Imagine the uproar worldwide if the ISO sent out an edict that a U.S. gallon would no longer be 4 quarts, but instead would be 4.4 quarts! Why change a standard that the world had recognized and honored for over 3, years? What was so horrific and wrong about 432 hz. that it should be altered in the first place? Conversely, to any skeptics reading this and who may still subscribe to the false notion that “it doesn’t matter” – then I ask you – WHY DID “THEY” CHANGE IT THEN?? Moreover, why set it as a WORLD-WIDE STANDARD?
In closing, let me reiterate the reality. There is just ONE God, just ONE Creator of the Uni (one) Verse (song). There is just ONE NAME given under Heaven whereby the souls of man may be saved. There is just ONE earth, and ONE way the earth was intelligently created. There is, then, just ONE governing base “keynote” that is recognized by the Creator. God is not the author of confusion and dissonance – but don’t forget that the adversary most definitely is. Don’t be deceived by individuals who would try and tell you that 444 hz. is the “true” frequency and 528 hz. is the “frequency of love” which only appears when 444 hz is the tuning of Concert A. Understand that 444 hz. is just as destructive (maybe even more so) that the 44 hz. And never forget that the NUMBER of the BEAST, the “King of the Demons” (Matthew 1:25) called (Beelzeboul) BEELZEBUB (yet another term for BAAl) in the Greek Text is literally the number 528 as counted in Matthew 1:25. TOP REASONS FOR CHRISTIANS TO RE-EMBRACE 432 HZ INSTEAD OF THE HARMFUL 44 HZ.
1. 432 hz. is the governing frequency of the created universe as measured by planetary alignments and orbital movements. The hebrew gematria for the word “creator” is 432, while the gematria for “antichrist” is 44.
2. The Ancient COVENANT HEBREWS used 432 hz. tuning on their instruments, and it became the basis of WORSHIP and OBLATIONS in the Hebrew Temple and Tabernacle, and later, the standard keynote pitch of Christian music worldwide.

5. Many professional musicians have declaredthat A=432hz music seems to them to be non localized in nature, and can appear to fill a room, whereas A=44hz can perceived as directional or linear in sound propagation.
6. If Hitler, Goebbles, Rockefeller and Rothschild were proponents of 44 hz., is it really peaceful and beneficial to human beings?
7. The original Stradivarius violins were designed to be tuned to A=432 ONLY. Many professional musicians have complained that the raising ofconcert pitch to 44 hz. or higher caused undue stress or warping of their expensive acoustic instruments such as their Stradivarius violins, and that 44 hz damages a singers vocal chords especially those of professional opera singers. This was intensely studied by the composer Giovanni Verdi, and for years, A=432 hz. was called the “Verdi tuning” – or “Scientific tuning.”

1. 432 is THE ONLY resonant frequency that is capable of naturally reproducing what is called the Pythagorean Musical Spiral in the water of the human cell. Its the same sequence of growth that all life follows. It utilizes the formula of Phi also know as the Golden Mean and is also found in the Fibonacci sequence throughout all of nature.
11, The notes that come out in the A = 432 scale end up as mostly, whole numbers, and are divisible by 3. John Stuart Reid quotes, using the Cymascope/cymatics technology:432 Hertz pops out as a triangle, every time we image it. We thought there was something wrong with the Cymascope, but after trying for more than an hour we concluded that the number 3 was somehow universally connected to 432 Hertz.

According to the harmonic principle by which any produced sound automatically resonates all the other multiples of that frequency, when we play C at 256 Hz, (when A is tuned to 432 hz) the C of all other octaves also begins to vibrate in sympathy and so, naturally, the frequency of 8Hz is also sounded. This is why (together with many other mathematical reasons) the musical pitch tuned to 432 oscillations per second is known as the scientific tuning. This “scientific” tuning was unanimously approved at the Congress of Italian musicians in 1881 and recommended by the physicists Joseph Sauveur and Felix Savart as well as by the Italian scientist Bartolomeo Grassi Landi. In contrast, the frequency chosen in London in 1953 as the worldwide reference frequency and which all music today has been tuned to, has come to be defined as disharmonic because it has no scientific relationship to the physical laws that govern our universe, and exhibits no “Harmonic Principle” of the sacred number 8.
In conclusion, God is omnipotent and omnipresent, and is fully capable of touching people’s hearts through Music and the Spoken Word, even if the music is presented in the chaotic 44 hz. tuning. Many hearts have been touched by 44 hz. Christian music, and many will continue to be touched IN SPITE OF 44 hz. tuning – not BECAUSE OF IT! By no means is this writing meant to limit God in any way. HOWEVER, physics and universal laws still govern this plane we call earth (Adamah). I can only imagine what GREATER WORK can be accomplished in His Name and for His Glory by embracing HIS PURE SONG by our Christian worship teams and in our daily walks.

I’ve had the uncommon privilege to come across your writings, and attest the veracity of such, as the Ruach Hakodesh leads to ALL the truth.
Revelation speaks about the key(s) of David, don’t you agree that these keys-Hz-frequencies are in plural form such as 396Hz, 417Hz, 444Hz, 528Hz, 639Hz, 741Hz, and 842Hz, if you do, I’d like to hear what you have to say in this regard.
As a musician, song writer and worshipper myself I’m well-familiar with frequencies. It’s my persuasion that Romans 8:26 implies the frequencies of the Spirit, and the Holy Spirit PRAYS for us in unutterable groanings (Ancient Aramaic).

Indeed, there are various harmonic “keys” or tones, – but I respectfully submit in order to be at all beneficial (both spiritually and even physically) they have to be in harmonic form to a “BASE” (bass) or master frequency. The best example is when a stone enters calm water. The initial impact is much like the “base” frequency, and the subsequent “rings” are the related harmonics PRIMARY to the original first tone.
What I have found in my research on 21 individual healing minerals is simply that they do their work at the cellular level because of their specific hz resonant frequencies. The frequencies pulse due to the mineral’s individual atomic weight which form pulsing crystalline structures. This is easily seen in the accurate pulsing of a quartz-crystal watch for instance. When one applies the Pythagorean skein of 2/3 ratio of numbers, you find that these mineral frequencies are indeed reflective of the very ratios of the cellular compositions of mammalian life forms. What is highly significant to me personally is that the musical scale of 7 major frequencies (Do-Re-Mi, etc.) perfectly match the numbers of the Pythagorean chart – and also harmonize with the primary mineral frequencies. THIS CANNOT BE ATTRIBUTED TO MERE COINCIDENCE. Furthermore, this only happens when the note A (La) is tuned to 432 hz. This natural, “creative” harmonization of tones is simply lost when A is tuned to any other hz. frequency. This is why I personally believe David’s KEY was and eternally is 432 hz.

This is a response to Nelson about the 396, 417, 528, 639, 741, and 852. If you take those frequencies and turn them into actual pitches, they make an awful sounding scale. They in no way match the Pythagorean scale that atrueott talks about. Our modern equal tempered scale is actually quite close to the Pythagorean scale. Basically, in equal temperament, the distance between notes are mathematically equal̷ that’s why they call it equal temperament. In Pythagorean temperament (tuning), the distance between notes are not quite equal. Once you set the temperament, you then set the concert pitch. Concert pitch is what determines A=44 from A=432. The solfeggio frequencies mentioned above do no fit within any concert pitch or temperament. Only the 528 fits within A=444. As a trained musician, I understand music theory and it was when I started looking at the solfeggio frequencies and comparing them to the Pythagorean scale, I realized there was a major problem. The distance (temperament) between each of the ancient solfeggio pitches does not fit within any temperament that’s been used, nor do they fit within any concert pitch (natural tuning), as atrueott mentioned. I actually have a video on my website where I put the solfeggio frequencies into a music program (Sibelius) and played the “Hymn to St. John the Baptist” that’s said to have the solfeggio frequencies. It sounds like 2th contemporary music which in no way is ancient and is completely unrecognizable. So, based on music theory and historical practices, what people are calling the ancient solfeggio frequencies are probably not ancient but are from the 2th century. However, I like Jamie Buturff’s suggestion in that they are more than likely family number groups and not musical frequencies. That would make much more sense.

Thanks, Don. Listening to Mr. Buturff gives me hope that there are others beside me who have found the relationship to the human body/soul and the creator is indeed 432 hz. I may have to update the post – In the Bible time-frame account there were exactly ten patriarchs between Adam and Noah, who lived exceptionally long lives. The total years they lived add up to a total of 1,656. In that number of years, there are 86,4 weeks, (one year consists of 52.173913 weeks without “leap years” or exactly twice 43,2. Curiously, the number of seconds in a 24 hour day is also exactly 86,4. Waxing sun and waning sun divides the day into two 12 hour periods of exactly 43,2 seconds, or 432 times 1. Curious.
Back in 1996 I was invited to California to meet three Tibetan “healer” monks who were visiting as part of the “Free Tibet” promotions by Richard Geere. In as much as what you have mentioned about 432 and 44 makes sense, your sudden throw-away comment on 444 at the end of your article I was not expecting, especially as you did not provide the water images etc as you did for 432. I personally have found there to be a massive difference when I play my guitar and keyboard in 444, as supposed to 44. A sense of lightness comes over me and I am taken to a deeper place in God than before I knew about frequencies, when I was just playing in standard Westonised tuning. Before I read Bobby’s account containing the list of words for 444, I was troubled by what you had said about 444 and felt unsure, because of the positive experience I have when playing in it. After reading the list of words from Bobby’s research, it makes sense to me why I go to a deeper place in worship with my instruments tuned to 444.
I also play in 432, as I know that to be a beautiful frequency and no doubt you are right with what you say about it. I have not managed to go into quite the depth of study that you have, but it was great to experience the effect of 432 upon walking into a local MacDonalds one evening last year and finding them playing classical music! Yes, in “practical terms” it can be done with any stringed instrument. Relaxing the strings takes pressure off the neck and bridge. It has been my experience that the strings take a couple of weeks to “normalize” – and then they stay in tune much longer. You can get a chromatic tuner at your local music store that you can set at 432 hz. – or if you have a smart phone, there are a number of really accurate tuner apps that you can use as well. That effect is actually a function of the camera and not the water or music. The camera operates at 24Hz and 432 is a multiple of 24 and 44 isn’t. When it is a multiple you get these pretty effects.

Do you believe God worked THROUGH the human authors or IN SPITE of them? I believe, as Watson so excellently argues in the above work, that God spoke through the locution and illocution of the initial author. The authority and authorial intent of the Biblical writers/speakers sets the perlocution for their ancient hearers AND must be taken into consideration for any interpretation we make of the text. The ancient had no way of measuring frequency, or even a definition of a second. Concept of a second was related the Babylonian base 6 counting. 1/864th of a day is not exactly a nice round number. Here is a gentleman recreating the Jorvik flute based on the exact measurements, and it not only uses a different scale than we use, since equal temperament was discovered by the Chinese in the 15s and didn’t make it to Europe until, I think, the 18th century, his A is 3 cents SHARP, which puts it at about A=447.7. If he had said 3 cents flat, it would still be be a bit sharp for 432 since 432 is about 32 cents flat.
I’d love to see the actual tuning fork that you have from what looks like an old painting so I can hear it resonate at 432. I’d also love to see some writings or references that can suggest some sort of method the ancients would have used to reliable reproduce 432. You can’t tell me that they just “felt” it and were so successful at pass on the way to “feel” that pitch to everyone up until they could measure frequency and come up with a way to reproduce it reliably.
Forgive me for simply disregarding all your numerology. Especially the relationship with the speed of light is miles per second. So what if the number can be multiplied by some number of get another number that is close to the speed of light in miles per second. Miles are not scientific or religious in nature, just like seconds. The speed of light is defined as 299,792,458 meters per second, which is where we get the definition of a meter, which now, also defines an inch, which is then used to define the speed of light in miles per second. Either way it’s irrelevant. If you were, for instance, to associate sound frequencies with colors of light based an them being exact multiples, then you would have something to talk about. That would at least have some plausibility, but that’s not what you said.

Your picture of an “Early Hebrew pipe instrument called a symphonia circa 1th Century B.C.E.” can’t possibly be an actual instrument from that time period. The fragments of ancient instruments they have found from that time period were in horrible repair, unplayable, and certainly wouldn’t have any surviving cloth pieces.
I’m sure there is nothing WRONG with tuning at 432, except that every existing wind instrument will have to be thrown in the trash because they can’t be tuned to that frequency.

I would guess they would have been tuned lower since most pitch pipes from that era and region are pitched lower. I did find an article that showed frequency response of strad violins over the whole frequency rage they play. I didn’t see anything in the graph that would suggest a difference in pitch would matter much in the way the instrument responded. The English orchestras had a pitch all the way up to A=462, so I’m sure a number of these extent violins was turned to that at some point.

In any case, there was no such standard according to the many historical references I’ve read and extant wind instruments that aren’t tuned to that pitch.
You made quite a few more statements, but I won’t bother to comment on them all. I don’t hate you as you said of others who dared to doubt your rather extraordinary claims, nor am I saying the 432 isn’t a great pitch, but music is made of many pitches. Every note above A44 is higher in frequency. Every note other than A is out of tune with respect to just tuning intervals due to equal temperament. Surely the other tones must have meaning if the value of A must be so exactly defined. Surely the relationships between tones effect emotional response and expression, or can we only listen to notes with a just intonation value related to A=432, or 43.52, since you technically argued for both.
Well, I just went after the whole camel, not the gnat. If A were currently 432, then fine, but you have not even begun to convince me there is any value in changing the standard pitch. There would certainly be a cost to doing so.
You didn’t really provide me with a spiritual reason, though I’m not sure how you could, to be honest. The bible doesn’t provide any mention of this. Perhaps if you could at the very least provide some anecdotes from people who were healed as a result changing their pitch. It seems to me that God would be very unjust to require something he both didn’t command and that people prior to the 18’s would have been unable to achieve reliably before providing them with deliverance.

I have professionally tuned my Yamaha baby grand to A = 432, and then measured all natural seven notes in the scale. Indeed, “middle C” measures 256 hz. That, Dear David, is a FACT – not conjecture.
Also, once again I submit that you are missing the big picture, which is the FACT that 432 “scientific” tuning produces an incredible number of “sympathetic” harmonies – many, many than ANY OTHER tuning. Sympathetic harmonies are best explained as similar to the concentric rings formed when a stone enters a still pond. Because 432 hz. is purely and evenly divisible by every number from 1-9, with the notable exception of 5 and 7, this helps explain the phenomenon. For instance, I play bass guitar. When “ringing” the open E string – the sympathetic harmonies that result give a much deeper and richer blend to the music chart being played by all other instruments and especially the vocalists. I rarely play the open E string at 44 hz. tuning, because it often sounds quite sour – as if the string itself is off. But its not – it’s in perfect tune. This is all explained by studying the Pythagorean 3:2 ratios as well as Johannes Kepler’s books and papers concerning universal “harmonies”. All of nature, from marine mammals, crickets, to bees, to RIVERS AND STREAMS – even the earth itself, vibrates to an exact octave, note or pitch of the 432 hz. tuning which simply is the center of 3:2 “perfect fifth” tuning.

As a Christian, musician, and an audio professional who specializes in system design I’ll weigh in here. I find the writing of your paper highly biased, subjective, and and poorly referenced. What actual studies or experiments have you completed to back up your claim beyond a coincidental numbering of an ancient alphabet? The idea that a change of tuning reference would shape the way sound is propagated in a space to make it more enjoyable is fascinating to the accoustition side of me. However I believe that the standardized 44hz came more as a result of the resonance of mass produced instruments using standardized pipe sizes then of a diabolical mass mind control concept.
You referenced at one point that a 432 tuning was said to “fill the room” and a 4hz tuning was perceived as “directional.” (One of the only actual bits of information which could imply a scientific study, but it is taken completely out of context with zero reference and is written only as a two sentence bullet point as part of you conclusion.) My questions, to this would be on the basis of the acoustics of the environment in which that comment was made. What were the dimensions of the space? Were you referencing a single 432 and 44 hz sine wave or a full range musical content? Was the audio source referenced from the edge of the room , as in playback from a speaker, or from the center, as in direct content from a musical instrument? As the 4 he range falls in what audio guys consider the “low mid range” it can sometimes be perceived as both uni and omni directional depending on the resonance and acoustical properties of the space (or room). Any wave function which coresponds or couples to the physical dimensions of the space will be perceived to “fill the space” (or as omni-directional) in anything up to around about 8-1hz. Based on the relationship of the audio source to the reflective edges of the space any particular frequency which resonates at a full, half, quarter, or even one eighth wave will be perceived as unidirectional.
In short, I’m not going to completely dismiss the idea that dropping the tuning reference can have a different effect on the way we hear and react to music, however this paper offers no actual analysis of that claim and is throughly unsubstantiated. I hope you will post my comments rather than simply dismiss me as a “hater” to show that you have an objective agenda in proving your point and are open to criticism regarding your opinion.

In my defense, please understand the target audience of which the writing was meant to reach. It was written to my fellow Christian musicians as basically an invite to EXPERIMENT with the “scientific tuning” of 432 hz. as opposed to 44 hz. with only rudimentary history and biblical gematria to support it. It was not MEANT by any means to be a scientific, peer reviewed “highly referenced” paper. Due to that, of course it is indeed HIGHLY subjective (I personally LOVE the depths and expression of 432 hz. “worship’ music) and was designed to hopefully spur further debate. (Which it most definitely has.)
With that said, I am currently working with a number of colleagues to produce a definitive research study at a major university which WILL be scientifically based and will explore my THESIS that 432 hz. music is much more soothing and much more capable to heal depression and other emotional imbalances in the brain of humans. Research that different pitches are more soothing would be interesting, but I don’t think this research can be complete unless you use a range other pitches and instruments and sets of overtones.

As a longtime student of the work of the late Suzanne Haik-Vantoura (THE MUSIC OF THE BIBLE REVEALED), I was asked by a friend to consider what you say here. I have something to contribute to this whole conversation.
While ancient man – meaning especially in the ANE (Ancient Near East) – had no way to my knowledge of demonstrating frequency, he did understand the inverse relationship between length of vibrating object and aural pitch of vibration. All that is required to set a pitch standard is that knowledge plus a pipe of fixed length, or other vibrating object not apt to change size greatly due to temperature and other factors. Israel had such a potential standard: the silver trumpets ordained in Numbers 1.
Josephus tells us that these trumpets were “a little less than a cubit long”. For ease of calculation let us assume their vibration length was a cubit long. That cubit – the old cubit of seven handbreaths, the same as the Egyptian royal cubit – was 525mm. The default pitch of such a trumpet in cool dry air at sea level is, to three significant digits, a “just” perfect fifth (E) above A = 432Hz. This could readily serve as the pitch for tuning the stringed instruments – in keeping with ancient practice in much of the ANE and in Greece, not from the bottom up but from the top down.

In my own performances of SHV’s work to lyre accompaniment, I use A = 432Hz and what is today’s “scientific” just intonation (documented long before by Ptolemy as his intense diatonic octave, extended chromatically, and which has an objective physical basis in the overtone and undertone series). SHV was a classical musician and her recordings are based on A = 44Hz accordingly, and for accessibility she used modern equal temperament. What she discovered is astounding enough under those conditions. It is far more so IMHO when “tweaked” to just intonation and to the “default” pitch of the trumpets such as we may infer it.
What am I talking about regarding SHV’s work? Nothing less than the rediscovery of the original melodic meaning of the accents of the Masoretic Text, and therefore of the original melodies of all the Old Testament authors “from Moses to Malachi (or Chronicles)”. Many have sought that solution. Some, not wanting to follow the evidence where it really leads, are still trying. But SHV found the correct solution by the correct means 19 years to the year after the fall of the Second Temple. That exact number has considerable significance for other reasons related to biblical history and prophecy. I hardly think it has none with regard to the revival of the music of the Levites and prophets.

For the last 3 months, I have been busy recording sounds of nature such as various bird songs, ocean waves, waterfalls, etc. The vast majority are rooted in 432 hz. frequencies. If ancient Israel and King David – who was originally a shepherd boy in fact patterned their harps and other instruments to be in tune with natural sounds (even sheep) I submit they would have tuned to 432 (unless nature has changed its tune in the modern era.) The more I study the works of Kepler, the more I am amazed at how interconnected everything is as to where a specific HZ pitch is concerned.

For example, he gave a fascinating explanation of the diagram of water vibrations and why A = 432Hz looks so markedly different from A = 44Hz. It has to do with the nature of the numbers themselves! And this reminds me of two things: 1) something I seem to have read somewhere about the Chinese pitch standards, part of (as it were) the Imperial Dept. of Weights and Measures, which changed over time as the state of the world changed; and 2) your statement “unless nature has changed its tune in the modern era”. This definitely gives me grist for the mental mill in trying to understand this complex subject better.

As long as you’re arguing for a different pitch standard, why not take a good, hard look at the price we pay in the West for using equal temperament? Sure, we can modulate keys just fine thanks to it – but we pay the price of purity of melody and harmony and therefore, of “moral force” in music. My Earthlight Orchestra project (sequencing on my computer using the Finale and Scala programs) uses nothing but just intonation and, these days, A = 432Hz. Look up, if you will, the first song I’ve published worldwide via CDBaby (particularly on iTunes, but also on many other electronic networks): “Hey, Christopher Alain” by Earthlight Orchestra. In that song I push the capabilities of just intonation as based on a fixed tonic to their very limits.

It is not commonly understood – the Schiller Institute doesn’t exactly underline the point so far as I can see – that 432Hz is a Pythagorean major sixth above 256Hz. But what relevance does that have to anything either natural or inspired? If one starts at 432Hz in natural tuning – the “just intonation” used by the biblical musicians – the C is different. If one starts at 256Hz, the A is different. Anyway, Pythagorean or “cyclical” tuning, as much as it was favored over the centuries even from high antiquity, has some severe disadvantages, because it has no objective existence in the overtone and undertone series as what some call natural tuning does.
Anyway, what good is the 256/432 ratio is one is working in equal temperament, or in natural just intonation for that matter?

When I get such dreams, I immediately go on an empirical search to verify and validate what was shown – to make sure it is factual. In this case – all was completely verified. Nature sings in 432 hz. Moving water emits 432 harmonies, as do most songbirds, crickets, cicadas, etc. Interesting that ravens, crows, and magpies squawk in 44 hz. Best of luck in your musical adventures. I find your theory highly interesting, but unfortunately not convincing enough for me.
I’m just curious why you state your whole point on one frequency?
I mean, music is based on the whole frame besides only 44 or 432 Hz, you are just mentioning the A the whole time̷
There are a hundreds more frequencies related to the music in a band.
And then not to forget the way grand pianos are tuned, having temperature tunings. They are different in tuning the lower keys frequencies than they do for the base keys (44 or 432).

The salient point in all of this is that only when concert A is tuned to 432 hz. does the entire spectrum of key, important and beneficial “harmonic” frequencies of the 12 note scale appear. Music is numbers and all creation is designed by numbers. I would recommend Johannes Kepler’s 1619 A.D. book on this entitled Harmony of the World – you see, the “scientific” tuning of A=432 hz. was not invented by man, rather, it was OBSERVED by watching and quantifying nature and natural processes.
Research has shown that the human brain enters what is called Gamma Wave entrainment at the threshold of 27 hz. This ‘gamma’ level is the realm of higher connection to deity and to expansion of the entire brain capacity (to use more than 1%). It improves memory and actually has been shown to reverse depression, and other psychosis such as bipolarity, schizophrenia, etc. Notice that 27 hertz is the bass pillar octave of 432 hz. – which is the 5th octave of 27 hz. (27, 54, 18, 216, 432)
So you see, there is indeed scientific evidences to consider.

Music has nothing to do with true worship. But you seem to be completely ignoring the entire contextual message of Paul’s letter to the Romans, Adam. Don’t “cherry pick” just a few verses. Paul is clearly describing in Romans Chapter 1 that the “invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made”, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse. In other words – Christ WANTS us to know Him INTIMATELY! He doesn’t want us to be ignorant and unthankful. For example, if I were judging you, I would say that you need to read your Bible more carefully when, after all, I don’t read it carefully myself; but I DO read the Bible carefully, so throwing that verse at me didn’t work.

Hey Lisa: What I have found after tuning my Yahama piano and guitars to A=432 is that our (my wife and I) vocals are so much easier to sing and the harmonies blend so much better. I think this is true whether one is a natural soprano or an alto – the notes somehow seem much easier to hit – the vocal range is expanded. The high notes are easier, but also the lower ranges are too. This is phenomenon that others have experienced as well. Best wishes.

Numerous archeological “Tels” excavated in Israel have yielded exact clay musical pipes and pan-flutes that to this day produce up to five specific “notes” – the most significant being 432 hz. – and 256 hz. (When A is correctly tuned to 432 hz. – middle C then resonates at 256 hz.). In a visit to the Jerusalem museum, I questioned why there was not a single display of ancient Israel’s MUSIC and their unearthed instruments (of which there are hundreds) – and I was not given an answer. When one considers that the Museum is an extension of Rockefeller funding (Rockefeller spearheaded the move to 44 hz.) it would possibly explain why the “evidence” of how David’s Harp and Psaltery was tuned is quite lacking. The best answer I can offer is that when you tune “concert A” to 432 hz., as opposed to either 444 hz. or 44 hz., the other notes in the scale suddenly come completely harmonious with all natural vibrations and tones such as crickets, bird songs, rain, flowing stream water, surf waves, etc. I find it highly significant that the Schumann Resonance of the earth itself is roughly 7.83 – 7.94 hz. (which is important when you realize there is a +/- of .2 hz on cellular vibration) you can make the calculations easier by “rounding up” to an even 8 hz. When you move 8 hz. up five octaves (8X2=16, 16X2=32, 32X2=64, 64X2=128, 128X2=256) you get 256 hz. which is the frequency of “middle C” ONLY when concert A is tuned to 432 hz. That’s just one of many dozens of examples. Moreover, all of the highly beneficial minerals the human body needs daily also each have a resonant frequency of sound that likewise are chord harmonics ONLY of 432 hz. as opposed to 444 hz. or 44 hz. This is why I am such a proponent of this tuning.

I had been reading some net articles on 432 and came across your site within those results
As a fledgling new guitarist I was interested in understanding the significance of these tunings and as a Christian whether it all really mattered. About a year ago I came across Leon Horowitz’s eBook: “The Book of 528” In its 37 odd pages it makes a range of arguments suggesting that 528 is the natural tuning in harmony with nature, the ‘sacred’ maths of Pi Phi and Pyramid geometry etc etc. Horowitz also invokes Biblical references, Cymatics, Metaphysics, Emoto’s water experiments and of course the conspiracy theories surrounding the A=44 Standard tuning.
My question then to you True is that Horowitz and others, like you agree that 44 is not the only tuning that should be experienced but differs in the best alternate tuning to use.
Can you summarise the salient differences and/or errors in the 444 camp to the 432.
I also take heed of the concerns of some responses in this blog that our worship should primarily be focused on our approach to our Lord being tempered with reverence and humility of heart.

I am bewildered by this study. 432 fits into the Fibonnaci series in nature so it seems in line with creation. Also, Satan promotes a solar calendar of 356 days rather than God’s more balanced 36 day lunar calendar, so it doesn’t surprise me that Satan would want to pervert musical tuning. I have read it was brought in as early as 1917, the very year the evil Federal Reserve took over our country. However, this 432 said to be used by groups of people I do not want any association with–the evil Chaldeans, Ancient Egyptian false god worshipers, Ancient Greek Pagans, Hopi Indians, Tibetan Monks, Buddhists, and a lot of current New Agers are promoting this 432 tuning. Even the so-called god of music Orpheus is said to use this tuning. I want not part of any of that either, so I am on the fence.

I just came across your website and would like to say I think it is great that you are highlighting this issue of A432. I think it is very important for the reasons you so clearly set out! I have been using A 432 now for over 2 years after discovering the book by Maria Renold. I found a 1928 Estey American Reed Organ which was manufactured to that pitch as was common before WW 2 and get a great deal of pleasure from its mellifluous sound. It is as you say the pitch of the natural world. Music is of course mathematically based but you have to experience it. I find it less invasive than the higher pitches and less soporific than the lower baroque pitches. I find it also interesting that when Maria Renold tuned the piano on an equal scale basis, rather than the normal one, it had a disharmonious effect on the people unless it was tuned to A 432. Thank you for the historic context which I had forgotten about.

Hello Amanda. So sorry for the delay – but I have been unavailable to continue blogging for the past 6 weeks. It is my opinion that if you want to be “in tune” with CREATION and LIGHT, then yes, concert A=432 hz. is best. Human brain waves clearly seem to “relax” and slow down at 432 hz. vs. 44 hz. That is significant too, I submit.
44hz tuning is unnatural period. When using the 12-TET system the 44-442hz tuning places the register shift (passaggio) at a tough place. For the choral and opera written for lower tunings (423hz to 435hz) it places the last note in the mid (second) register slightly into the head (third register) and creates tension and a thinner tone on top note as you have to use another register and vocal function or you start to strain and “scream”.. even pop artist if they don’t train the register shifts between second and third very often will strain, loose their voice andet get nodules on the vocal chords.

A thousand thanks for this article on which I returned several times. I found exciting the story of Abraham discovering the music of the spheres at the precise age of 99 years. It seemed obvious to me that this discovery was necessary for him to move on to the next stage, the 1 (i always supposed that the Bible was speaking of spiritual steps). Recently, I found an article differentiating the solfeggio 528Hz and the music tuned at 444hz, where 528Hz appears, saying that there is a confusion between both. The article reminds that many elements in nature use the 528 hz, chlorophyll, rainbows, even bees vibrate at 528 hz, as a single tone apparently.
Haven’t been able to validate in any way that chlorophyll, bees, or rainbows vibrate at 528 hz. Each of the seven colors in the visible spectrum of light has a different mhz signature according to physics – and 528 hz has NOTHING to do with it. However, white, refined sugar is indeed vibrating at 528 hz. Sugar robs the body of magnesium, which has a 36 hz. signature frequency (which is 432 divided by 12) as well as the all-important oxygen nutrient.

I have found great single tone 432 Hz videos on Youtube, that can be played in the background of some 432 Hz music, for instance, and people have reported some great health benefits, and plants growing at much faster speed̷ it’s like tuning your body to the frequency of the universe / cosmos / God.

Indeed, Dustin. Native American flutes and drums naturally resonate at 432 hz. interestingly enough. Apart from certain expensive timpani, I don’t think drums can be “tuned”. So glad you “resonated” to my paper.

I absolutely love this! We have been learning about the healing frequencies of music in my holistic veterinary practice. However, I am concerned now about some music I purchased by a Christian musician who plays some of the frequencies you spoke of 444 Hz, 528. His website is wholetones.com. I would love to hear what you think of 396 Hz as that has been the one that I play most in our office.
I have found that most people in society today are dealing with autoimmune and endocrine diseases most of which originate in the Pituitary and hypothalamus gland which is situated right behind the pineal.

You have been sorely deceived by Mr Tyrell’s New Age (rhymes with sewage) mysticisms. “King David’s tones??” Ridiculous. How does Tyrell know this? Has he unearthed an ancient text? Not at all. From his own website we read how this came to be.
Tyrell explains: I decided to experiment. I found reference to King David in my Bible on page 222. Now I dont know if this was divine intervention or not, but something told me to double that page number and re-tune my guitar
Thats when I realized I think I just discovered the key of David.
That’s how demonic familiar spirits operate, not God. Paul explained it this way in the NT book of Romans: “For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse.” (Romans 1:2) In other words – if one looks closely at and studies nature one can come to know and understand the Godhead’s eternal power. I know the difference between The Lord’s voice and the deceiver’s voice. Anyone who is too absolute on these type of things and too dictatorial, such as yourself, with responses to people that are really not from Father’s heart or in His spirit at times, are treading on dangerous ground. You must also be VERY careful when you start accusing someone – especially in public – about being demonically influenced, such as you have with Michael. But then again, Jesus himself was, wasn’t he̷
I reiterate my point, that there are MANY frequencies that have a positive affect on water molecules and as we are made up of at least 7% of it, to explore all of those which do have a positive effect, is beneficial. The Lord’s power can surpass anything, which is why so many worshippers who still play in 44HZ experience His presence still; because He is greater and He looks at the heart. The fact that I am led by Holy Spirit to a DEEPER place when playing in 444, than I ever was when playing in 44, is evidence enough to me. As long as each of us acknowledge[s] The Lord in all our ways, than He shall direct [our] path. (Proverbs 3:6).
You are not unteachable in this area, as none of us can claim be the fount of all knowledge in ANY area. There is always more to learn and it is right to listen and learn from one-another.
But apparently this is debatable and much evidence is found that such claims are fiction.
Anyone ever do research on Bb? All electrical devices hum on Bb̷almost. The hum is a few cents lower in pitch than the Bb of 44 A tuning. Coincidence?
Yes, You are correct. When A=432 the entire 12 note “scale” is found replicated in nature. The AC “hum” that Tesla documented matches the B flat key, but only when A=432. It is disharmonious at A=44. I have found that small motors also seem to “hum” at a B flat key as well. HMMMMM.

No, not at all. It only lowers the pitch 8 hz from A=44 ISO tunings.
